Cookie Policy

This Privacy Policy defines the rules for storing and accessing information on the User’s devices through cookies, used to provide electronic services requested by the User by Project Outdoor Polska spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością spółka komandytowa, with its registered office in Bielsko-Biała.

I. Definitions

  1. Administrator – means Project Outdoor Polska spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością Sp.k., with its registered office in Bielsko-Biała, 43-316, ul. Gen. J. Kustronia 99, NIP: 5472088849, REGON: 240873877, which provides electronic services and stores and accesses information on the User’s devices.
  2. Cookies – means IT data, in particular small text files, saved and stored on the devices through which the User uses the websites of the Service.
  3. Administrator’s Cookies – means cookies placed by the Administrator, related to the provision of electronic services by the Administrator through the Service.
  4. External Cookies – means cookies placed by the Administrator’s partners through the website of the Service.
  5. Service – means the website or application under which the Administrator operates an online service in the domain www.parkilinowe.pl.
  6. Device – means an electronic device through which the User gains access to the Service.
  7. User – means an entity to whom, in accordance with the Terms and Conditions and applicable law, electronic services may be provided or with whom an agreement for the provision of electronic services may be concluded.

II. Types of cookies used

  1. The cookies used by the Administrator are safe for the User’s Device. In particular, it is not possible for viruses, unwanted software or malicious software to enter Users’ Devices in this way. These files allow the software used by the User to be identified and the Service to be adapted individually to each User. Cookies usually contain the name of the domain from which they originate, the time they are stored on the Device and an assigned value.
  2. The Administrator uses two types of cookies:
    1. Session cookies – are stored on the User’s Device and remain there until the end of a given browser session. The saved information is then permanently deleted from the Device’s memory. The session cookie mechanism does not allow any personal data or confidential information to be collected from the User’s Device.
    2. Persistent cookies – are stored on the User’s Device and remain there until they are deleted. Ending a browser session or turning off the Device does not remove them from the User’s Device. The persistent cookie mechanism does not allow any personal data or confidential information to be collected from the User’s Device.
  3. The User may restrict or disable cookie access to their Device. If this option is used, the Service may still be used, except for functions that by their nature require cookies.

III. Purposes for which cookies are used

  1. The Administrator uses first-party cookies for the following purposes:
    1. Service configuration:
      • adapting the content of the Service’s websites to the User’s preferences and optimizing the use of the Service’s websites;
      • recognizing the User’s device and location and displaying the website accordingly, adapted to the User’s individual needs;
      • remembering the settings selected by the User and personalizing the User interface, e.g. with regard to the selected language or region from which the User comes;
      • remembering the history of visited pages within the Service in order to recommend content;
      • adjusting font size, website appearance, etc.
    2. User authentication in the Service and maintaining the User’s session in the Service:
      • maintaining the User’s session after logging in, so that the User does not have to re-enter their login and password on each subpage of the Service;
      • proper configuration of selected Service functions, in particular enabling verification of the authenticity of the browser session;
      • optimization and improvement of the performance of services provided by the Administrator.
    3. Implementation of processes necessary for the full functionality of websites:
      • adapting the content of the Service’s websites to the User’s preferences and optimizing the use of the Service’s websites. In particular, these files allow the basic parameters of the User’s Device to be recognized and the website to be displayed appropriately, adapted to the User’s individual needs;
      • proper handling of the affiliate program, in particular enabling verification of the sources of Users’ referrals to the Service’s websites.
    4. Remembering the User’s location:
      • proper configuration of selected Service functions, in particular enabling the information provided to be adapted to the User with regard to their location.
    5. Analyses, research and audience auditing:
      • creating anonymous statistics that help understand how Users of the Service use the websites, which makes it possible to improve their structure and content.
    6. Ensuring the security and reliability of the Service.
  2. The Administrator uses external cookies for the following purposes:
    1. presenting multimedia content on the Service’s websites, which is downloaded from an external website:
    2. collecting general and anonymous statistical data through analytics tools:
      • Google Analytics [cookie administrator: Google Inc., based in the USA]
    3. using interactive functions to popularize the Service through social networking websites:
      • Facebook.com [cookie administrator: Facebook Inc., based in the USA or Facebook Ireland, based in Ireland]

IV. Options for determining the conditions for storing or accessing cookies

  1. The User may independently and at any time change the settings concerning cookies by specifying the conditions for storing and accessing cookies on the User’s Device. The User may make changes to these settings using the settings of the web browser or through the service configuration. These settings may be changed in particular in such a way as to block the automatic handling of cookies in the web browser settings or to notify the User each time cookies are placed on their device. Detailed information on the possibility and methods of handling cookies is available in the settings of the software/web browser.
  2. The User may delete cookies at any time using the available functions in the web browser they use.
  3. Restricting the use of cookies may affect some functionalities available on the Service’s website.

Processing and Protection of Personal Data

The controller of personal data within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC, hereinafter referred to as the GDPR, in relation to Users’ personal data is:

  1. Providing personal data, as well as consent to their processing, is entirely voluntary. Any personal data provided to us is processed only within the scope and for the purpose for which the Customer has given consent. If the Customer does not provide the data necessary to complete the order and does not consent to their processing, it may not be possible to complete the order.
  2. The Administrator ensures the security of the data provided and the exercise of Users’ rights resulting from the GDPR. The User has the right to access their personal data and to rectify it, request its complete deletion, provided this is not contrary to the law, or restrict the processing of their personal data. For this purpose, the User may use the account data update function in the shop software or send a request, e.g. to the provided e-mail address, specifying the requested change or deletion of data from the records. The Administrator may refuse to delete the User’s data only in cases specified by applicable law, in particular if the User has not settled all amounts due to the Administrator.
  3. Users’ personal data is processed for the purpose of establishing, shaping, concluding, amending or terminating an agreement between the Service Provider and the Customer, and for the performance of a sales agreement or an agreement for the provision of an electronic service described in the Terms and Conditions.
  4. The User may receive marketing and commercial information in the form of a newsletter if they consent to it. The User may unsubscribe from receiving commercial information at any time.
  5. We ensure that our company complies with the personal data security policy. Personal data is safe with us and we make every effort to continuously improve this level of protection.
  6. Users’ personal data may be transferred to third parties only with the User’s consent in the cases described in the Terms and Conditions.
  7. In order to perform the agreement, deliver the ordered products and send correspondence to the Customer, data may be transferred to Poczta Polska or a selected courier company.
  8. In order to perform the agreement and deliver the products, it is necessary for the Customer to provide the following personal data: first name and surname, product delivery address, e-mail address, contact telephone number and, in the case of a company, additionally the tax identification number NIP.
  9. Personal data is processed only for the period necessary to perform the agreement:
    • sales documents – for the period required by accounting regulations;
    • address data – until the expiry of the warranty or statutory warranty period, depending on which period is longer;
    • e-mail address used to send the newsletter – for the period of validity of the User’s consent; consent may be withdrawn at any time.
  10. The Customer has the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority – the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO) – if they have objections to the processing of their personal data by the Administrator.
